What We Offer

Amalgam fillings are 50% mercury, and mercury is a potent neurotoxin. Mercury vapor is released with chewing, brushing and grinding. This never stops regardless of the age of the fillings. It easily passes into your blood stream and sinuses and can be absorbed by all the organs in your body. It’s been linked with Alzheimer’s Disease, heavy metal toxicity and autism, not to mention a host of neurological, autoimmune, and other serious disorders.
We offer state-of-the-art safe removal of mercury fillings. This includes protecting patients with chelating agents, charcoal rinses, oxygen during the procedure, high speed suction and vacuum filtered air. To protect the health of our patients, dental team, and environment, we follow strict safety protocols when removing mercury amalgam “silver” fillings. We have been certified and accredited in the protocols designed by the IAOMT and the IABDM, organizations that support and educate biologic dentists.

Root canals are done when the nerve in a tooth has been irreparably damaged, from decay or infection. They are now “dead” teeth with no nerve and no blood supply, and no pain. It is the only body part where this is considered safe.
Root canal teeth have been linked with a wide variety of cancers, autoimmune disorders, and other chronic conditions.
For this reason, many patients choose to have them removed. We can do so and thoroughly clean and disinfect the socket and underlying bone to promote good healing.
We are happy to to work with your other healthcare providers in supporting your whole body healing afterwards.
-
When teeth need to be repaired, we use only tooth-colored composite fillings and ceramic (porcelain) restorations. We never use amalgam or other metals. The composites we use are fluoride-free and BPA-free.
To ensure biocompatibility – especially for our most sensitive patients – we can order testing from Biocomlabs
-
Implants are one of the best options when you need to replace missing teeth. They look and function just like natural ones.
Cared for properly, they can last just as long or longer. The implants are placed surgically in your jaw, and then after months of healing will be restored with a crown or bridge.
Dental implants are long lasting, comfortable and do not compromise adjacent teeth.

A smile can be the most eye-catching feature of a face. Even the most subtle change in it can make a dramatic difference in the way you look and feel.
You no longer have to settle for stained, chipped, or misshaped teeth. You have choices that can help you smile with confidence.

Ozone is super-charged oxygen, an ideal disinfectant.
We use it to treat various dental sensitivities, infected teeth, and extraction sites.
To minimize the risk of cross-infection, we use distilled water in our dental lines for all treatments.
-
Advanced gum disease can put your teeth at risk. In the past, only surgical options were available to help. Today, we have dental ozone, local subgingival antibiotic placement, irrigation with essential oils to help us thoroughly disinfect periodontal pockets and support tissue regeneration.
Such treatments are painless, easy on the patient, and support your body’s self-healing mechanisms.
Add optimal nutrition and dedicated hygiene, and profound improvement is a reality.

Why Sedation dentistry?
Getting dental work done can stir up a lot of anxiety, even fear, in some people. Others have a strong gag reflex or sensory/motor issues that can make dental care a frightening prospect. Sedation dentistry offers a solution.
With sedation dentistry you take a small amount of medication, prescribed by the doctor just before your visit. You are assessed on arrival and may have additional sedative medication administered here in the office. There are no IVs or needles.
Oral conscious sedation relaxes you just enough to be unaware of the treatment. Not only are you completely comfortable through the procedure, but we can often do more complex treatments in a shorter amount of time. What might take several appointments without sedation can be done in one or two appointments.

Tooth extractions are sometimes necessary to protect overall oral and systemic health.
Severely decayed, damaged, or infected teeth that cannot be restored may need removal to prevent the spread of infection.
Impacted wisdom teeth can cause pain, misalignment, or cyst formation, making extraction the best solution. Advanced periodontal disease may lead to loose teeth, requiring extraction to preserve the health of surrounding bone and tissues. Chronic infections from compromised teeth can contribute to systemic inflammation, affecting heart health, digestion, and the immune system.
Removing problematic teeth can alleviate chronic pain, reduce the risk of abscesses, and support long-term well-being.
At Our Holistic Dentistry, we use gentle, biologically friendly extraction techniques to promote healing and minimize trauma.
We offer biocompatible materials and regenerative therapies to optimize post-extraction recovery. Our goal is to protect your oral health while supporting whole-body wellness.

The temperomandibular joint(TMJ ) is the joint that allows us to move our jaws. It is located just in front of the ears. It is held on to your face with a sling of muscles that attach to your cheekbone and extend to below your jaw.
Just like any joint in the body it can become achy and sore. In the case of the TMJ it can be related to headaches, jaw pain, neck pain, tooth wear, and fractures.
What aggravates this condition? Grinding and clenching at night or during the day, an uneven bite, chewing hard foods and trauma can all exacerbate this condition.
For may people a nightguard can make an enormous difference by giving this joint a rest at night. The nightguard minimizes the occurrence of morning headaches and soreness and protects your teeth and dentistry from wear.
Many patients experience full relief from the symptoms of TMJ by adding a nightguard to their self-care routine.

Platelet rich fibrin (PRF) is an autologous (obtained from the own blood of the patient) bioactive and biocompatible material used during surgical procedures such as extractions and implants, to regulate the inflammation and increase the speed of the healing process.
PRF has a strong fibrin network that behaves as a scaffold full of stem cells, cytokines and growth factors that stimulate bone and soft tissue regeneration in a natural way.
PRF has also immunological and antibacterial properties, being a satisfactory alternative for bone graft with great results and low risks.

The mouth is a window to the body.
Holistic dentistry – sometimes called “biological” or “biocompatible” dentistry – isn’t a specialty. It’s a philosophy.
Optimal health is impossible when oral conditions are neglected.
We’re here to support your overall health by helping you achieve a stable and healthy mouth – and to do so in a peaceful, relaxing, and welcoming environment.

The Basic Principles of Holistic Dentistry
Proper nutrition for the prevention and reversal of degenerative dental disease.
Avoidance and elimination of toxins from dental materials.
Prevention and treatment of dental malocclusion (bite problems = physical imbalance).
Prevention and treatment of gum disease at its biological basis.
Education to empower you to maintain your highest level of oral health.
As a holistic dental practice, we understand that the mouth can’t be viewed independently from the rest of the body. It’s a reflection of the body’s health, as well as a potential source of systemic illness.
Your mouth is a sacred portal through which breath, mantra, and food travel in and out of your body. You can reclaim your own unity and wholeness by taking the time to notice what goes into your mouth and what comes out of it. You can reunite with it and support its good health and function.
Ultimately, you are responsible for your own health. We are happy to support you.
